Mathematics Teacher (MYP) in Guangzhou
Start date: ASAP or August

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics within the MYP framework, deliver engaging and well-structured lessons, and contribute to the wider development of students within the international programme.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics to MYP students
Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons
Contribute to the retention and interaction of MYP students through strong relationships and effective teaching
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Provide timely and constructive feedback
Contribute to curriculum planning and development
Support the wider life of the school and collaborate with colleagues across departments
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
Recognised teaching qualification
Relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting
Familiarity with the IB MYP or other international curricula is preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a bilingual and international school environment

Salary and Benefits

Salary: RMB 28,000 per month inclusive of everything
End of contract bonus: RMB 54,000
