We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to lead digital product initiatives supporting customer and policyholder experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong product ownership skills with technical integration expertise, including APIs and JSON/XML data mapping, and has hands-on functional experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter .

This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, UX/UI designers, and project management teams to define product strategy, manage the backlog, and deliver high-quality insurance solutions using Agile methodologies.

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, UX/UI, and business stakeholders.
• Drive customer and policyholder journey mapping to improve digital experiences.
• Work with API integrations, reviewing JSON/XML payloads and performing system-to-system data mapping.
• Partner with Guidewire teams to support PolicyCenter enhancements and product initiatives.
• Coordinate sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies using Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban methodologies.
• Support business process improvements across underwriting, policy servicing, rating, and claims-related workflows.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and priorities to leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PMO teams to manage day-to-day project activities and delivery timelines.

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst, or Product Consultant .
• Strong experience within Insurance or Financial Services , preferably Property & Casualty (P&C) .
• Guidewire PolicyCenter experience with functional expertise or hands-on configuration knowledge.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integration projects.
• Hands-on experience reading and mapping JSON/XML data between systems.
• Ability to understand API payloads and perform technical data mapping.
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing Agile product backlogs.
• Strong understanding of customer/policyholder digital journeys.
• Experience delivering customer-facing web portals or digital insurance solutions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.

• Guidewire configuration or implementation experience.
• Experience with Personal Lines and/or Commercial Lines insurance products.
• Familiarity with underwriting, policy servicing, rating, and insurance workflows.
• Experience working in enterprise PMO environments.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.
