Overview
Registered Nurse - NICU travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Neonatal ICU care for very high acuity patients (from 22 weeks gestation and greater) in a hospital setting. Start date 08/17/2026 for a 12-week assignment. Weekly pay range is $1,566 to $1,651. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: night shift, 12-hour rotations on a 2x3 schedule.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including very high acuity patients.
- Monitor respiratory status and support devices, from conventional ventilation to high-frequency ventilation as available, and assist with weaning as appropriate.
- Administer medications and therapies via continuous IV drips (vasopressors, sedation) and monitor infusion safety and efficacy.
- Perform central line maintenance, infusion management, and strict infection-control practices.
- Conduct neonatal resuscitation procedures as part of the care team when needed.
- Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure continuity of care across shifts.

- Willingness to commit to a 12-week travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA.
- Availability to work night shifts (12-hour) on a 2x3 schedule.
- Experience in or demonstrated ability to care for very high acuity neonatal patients in a NICU setting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes neonatal environment with complex clinical needs.
- Willingness to participate in credentialing, onboarding, and unit orientation as part of assignment.
- Ability to adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and interdisciplinary care standards.
