Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for NICU patients using the nursing process and established standards
- Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff across levels; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines
- Collect, interpret, and document patient data; analyze needs to determine diagnoses and plan care
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a patient care plan; adjust interventions to achieve expected outcomes
- Perform discharge planning and patient/family education; promote a safe, healing environment
- Delegate appropriately, monitor progress, and participate in ongoing learning for patients, families, and team members

Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice (California) or eligible to practice
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor required
- BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in NICU or relevant field
- Ability to work in a NICU setting and meet the shift requirements listed
