Salary: $112,902.4 - 133,702.4 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with expert Microsoft Project capability, including building precise schedules with correct task links, dependencies, milestones, baselines, variance analysis, resource loading, and capacity planning.
• We need experience managing constraints appropriately, avoiding unnecessary date restrictions, and producing customized views, reports, and dashboards.
• We are seeking a candidate with strong schedule management skills, including creating realistic, executable plans and maintaining accurate progress and remaining work estimates.
• We require strategic planning ability, including understanding portfolio-level impacts, evaluating scheduling scenarios, and aligning plans with governance and reporting expectations.
• We value strong problem-solving skills for resolving schedule conflicts, resource bottlenecks, and sequencing issues when plans change.
• We are looking for effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to explain complex schedules clearly and influence stakeholders through data.
• We require either at least 8 years of related experience in an IT analyst or IT project planning/scheduling role, or a bachelors degree or higher in a business or IT discipline plus at least 5 years of related experience.
• A bachelors degree is preferred for one qualification path.

• We will rely on you to lead the scheduling function typically handled within a PPA-style role.
• You will create and maintain accurate, high-quality schedules that support confident project delivery decisions.
• You will build and manage schedules in Microsoft Project, ensuring task relationships, dependencies, milestones, baselines, and critical path integrity are correct.
• You will monitor schedule performance through variance analysis, regular maintenance, and quality reviews.
• You will identify risks early, forecast outcomes and completion dates, and keep schedules aligned with actual progress.
• You will maintain reliable estimates for remaining work and duration, and anticipate downstream impacts before making schedule changes.
• You will assess interdependencies across projects, programs, and portfolios, and evaluate alternative scheduling scenarios.
• You will recommend practical actions when timelines are at risk and help align schedules with governance and reporting needs.
• You will resolve schedule conflicts, address resource contention, troubleshoot sequencing issues, and support planning adjustments when priorities shift.
• You will communicate schedule status clearly, facilitate planning and review sessions, and influence project managers and stakeholders with data-driven insights.

We are Randstad Digital, offering this contractor opportunity on a telecommute basis with a standard 9am to 5pm schedule. This is a contract assignment with hourly pay ranging from $54.28 to $64.28, based on factors such as education, experience, work location, job duties, and certifications.
